    Application Guidelines:

    1- 1. Access to this site is for Nonprofit organizations invited by a Heffernan Insurance Brokers’ employee to apply.
    2- Please include a valid business email address. Personal email addresses like Yahoo, Hotmail, or Gmail will not be accepted.





    Applicants must be a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization in good standing. Activities proposed for funding must be charitable in nature as defined by IRS regulations. In general, the Foundation will not consider applications for sponsorships, or requests that are not consistent with the Foundation’s mission and funding priorities. Applications from political or lobbying organizations or those practicing unlawful discrimination will not be accepted.

    Heffernan Foundation’s online system enables individuals to submit applications for the Heffernan Foundation Grant. It also allows Heffernan Foundation the ability to monitor and approve such applications while respecting the confidential nature of the information provided.

    All information entered into the system will be managed and protected in accordance with the applicable federal laws and policies in accordance with these Terms of Use.

    By submitting your application electronically, you confirm that:

    - The nonprofit is a 501c3 in good standing
    - That nonprofit was invited to submit an application
    - If awarded, the nonprofit organization has the necessary time and facilities to carry out the grant
    - The nonprofit will notify Heffernan Foundation of any change(s) to the grant holder’s status
    - If awarded, the nonprofit accepts the terms and conditions of the grant
    - The nonprofit has not been barred from applying to other organizations due to reasons of breach of standards, ethics, or integrity
    - Certifies that the information provided in the application is complete and accurate to the best of his/her knowledge

    When I select “I agree with these terms” below, I confirm that I am in full acceptance of these Terms of Use and that this electronic acceptance is equivalent to my handwritten signature. I recognize and accept that this agreement applies in full to all applications, documents and communications I may submit, view or obtain electronically or otherwise relating to the Heffernan Foundation on-line grant process.
